Affidavit that you are legally free to marry

Malaysian law may require foreigners who marry in Malaysia to first prepare a sworn Affidavit of Marriage. The affidavit must be notarized by their own country’s embassy, affirming that they are legally free to marry. You can find out more about requirements for getting married in Malaysia.
