Trans-Pacific Partnership
2 MINUTE READ

Though the United States has withdrawn from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), we remain fully committed to strengthening our economic relationships across the Asia-Pacific region, including with each of the 11 countries that signed on to the TPP.  The new Administration intends to engage strongly with the Asian-Pacific economies, working with governments to reduce barriers to trade and investment and enhance opportunities that will promote economic and job growth in the United States and the other countries of the region. Our overall goal is to advance trade and investment across the region, including through bilateral FTAs with countries that agree to implement the domestic reforms that will help them meet the high standards that we intend to set.
