U.S. Nobel Prize Laureate in Physics, Robert. B. Laughlin visits Kuala Lumpur

Dr. Laughlin led discussions with Malaysian science teachers along with Tan Sri Zakri Abd Hamid, Science Advisor to the Prime Minister.

U.S. Nobel Prize Laureate in Physics Robert. B. Laughlin visited Kuala Lumpur January 16 to “Ignite Passion in Science Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)” at Honeywell’s Initiative for Science & Engineering event. Dr. Laughlin led discussions with Malaysian science teachers along with Tan Sri Zakri Abd Hamid, Science Advisor to the Prime Minister. Later in the week Dr. Laughlin will give a keynote at University Technology Petronas to present his work on the Brayton Battery, an energy storage technology designed to store renewable wind and solar generated electricity as heat.
