A delegation of seven members of the United States Congress visited Kuala Lumpur yesterday as part of a trip to the region that also includes Japan and Singapore. While in Kuala Lumpur, the delegation met with Malaysian government officials, including Prime Minister Najib, to discuss economic and trade issues and the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement. They also met with the American Chamber of Commerce and U.S. company representatives. The delegation was led by Congressman Paul Ryan, Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee.
