On March 11, fifteen English language instructors of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) successfully completed their 4-week virtual instructional teaching skills workshop facilitated by English Language Specialist Michael Herndon. During the last week, all participants had the chance to practice their new teaching methodologies via a teaching demonstration. Based on the evaluation survey conducted, 100% of the participants strongly agreed that the activities conducted throughout the course were immediately useful for their teaching; majority found the training was helpful in preparing them to teach English. Overall, participants thought it was a fun, interesting and enjoyable course. They also commented that the instructor skillfully managed the online classroom and met the expectations of the officers. The project concluded with speeches from Cultural Affairs Officer Katherine Diop and Lt. Col. Izani Junoh, Staff Officer 1 from MAF, stressing the desire to continue collaborating in the future.
