On August 10, Director of ADAMS Center (All Dulles Area  Muslim Society)  inspired about sixty Malaysian students during a seminar hosted by Lincoln Corner Johor.  During the seminar, entitled,  “The Benefits and Challenges  of Youth Work in America,”  Joshua Salaam engaged students from the Ibrahim Sultan Polytechnic and Temenggong Ibrahim Teacher’s Training College in a lively interactive discussion on ways they too can spread the spirit of volunteerism and play a more positive role in the community.  The students were particularly interested in the challenges and success stories of how their American counterparts share the true teachings of Islam with their non-muslim friends.  Local media representatives from The Iskandarian and Oriental Daily attended Joshua Salaam’s program while Sinar Harian was granted an exclusive interview.
