More than 2,000 people came to see the performance of the U.S.-based Johnny Rodgers Band and seven other country music bands from Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore at the Miri Country Music Fest 2014.  The band performed a selection of original songs, including “Moving to Graceland” as well as favorite hits by Garth Brooks, Jerry Reed, Tex Williams and other country legends.  The band also conducted a “Sounds of Nashville” workshop in Miri.

On February 16 – 17, Johnny Rodgers brought their music to Labuan and Kota Kinabalu with concerts and workshops in both cities.  While this was the band’s third trip to Kota Kinabalu, the concert in Labuan was the first by an American band in recent memory.
