EXBS-Nu Borders Data Analytics Training for Strategic Trade Control/Sanctions Evasion

The Export Control and Related Border Security Program collaborates with NU Borders LLC to train Malaysian border enforcement and licensing officials in Kuala Lumpur on the latest data analytics in support of US non-proliferation efforts. This is EXBS and Nu Borders’ inaugural course for applying data analytics on trade data to identify Strategic Trade Control violations using NU Borders’ Border Intelligence for Trade Enforcement (BITE) analytic platform. The training includes members from the Royal Malaysian Police, Royal Malaysian Customs (RCMD), Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA), Marine Department Malaysia, Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), Science and Technology Research Institute of Defense (STRIDE), Atomic Energy Licensing Board, and the Strategic Trade Secretariat (STS) Kuala Lumpur.
