Ambassador Yun visited the campus of Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP Paus Campus) and gave a talk on U.S.-Malaysia relations to students, faculty, and local dignitaries. He discussed areas of bilateral cooperation, including education, security, trade, and the environment. He noted that the last few years have seen an increase in cooperation at all levels, including people-to-people. He also cited the Trans-Pacific Partnership as a significant accomplishment that will benefit both countries. All of this has occurred in the context of the Obama Administration’s ‘rebalance to Asia-Pacific.’ During his visit to UniMAP, Ambassador Yun was also invited to a live-online streaming campus radio talk show where he shared his thoughts on education.
