In his remarks, AMB Yun thanked the state education representatives and the school for their strong collaborative support of the Fulbright ETA program and for the personal attention and care they provide to all ETAs.  He added that this is the first time since the Peace Corps left Malaysia in 1983, we have young Americans teaching English in Sarawak.  He also mentioned that he was in the meeting with President Obama and Prime Minister Najib when they spoke about building greater people-to-people connections. The Principal of the school in his remarks cited that AMB Yun’s visit has created a history in the school and ensure that the school will give full support to Alexandra for greater impact.
