Ambassador McFeeters Addresses Climate Change Policy at Launch of Environmental Speaker Series

In collaboration with World Wildlife Fund, PAS launched a six-month environmental speaker series on August 11.  The series will consist of virtual sessions on climate change, food security, decarbonization, biodiversity conservation, and nature-based solutions.  The launch featured the Director of the New York City Mayor’s Office of Resilience, Jainey K. Bavishi, and Chairman of Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad, Tunku Alizakri Alias. Both speakers addressed why climate change matters.  Ambassador McFeeters’ remarks focused on the urgency and effects of climate change and the U.S. policies that help mitigate these effects.
